November was a busy month for our compliance team who provided training and support to Euroforest staff across the UK. This included Forest Works Manager training for both Euroforest staff and external companies; two days with local staff and SEPA discussing harvesting best practice and ways to approach difficult sites; and attending a number of meetings including our Southern Regional Managers meeting. The meeting took place in the Cotswolds where a range of topics were discussed including pests and diseases, mechanical arboriculture, and Kent Renewable Energy. Compliance Officer, Mark Tansley was in attendance who issued an industry update before introducing the group to a new digital risk assessment system.
