Euroforest Group Smash Cycling Challenge Target in First Two Weeks of Charity MIND
The Group are smashing the Euroforest Cycling Challenge and have flown past the initial target of cycling 1,068 miles between our North office in Huntly and our most Southern office in Devon to raise money for the charity MIND. So far, staff have collectively cycled 1,757 miles in just two weeks, so we’re upping the ante to see how many times the group can cycle the distance between these offices before the challenge ends on the 4th of September. A number of staff have been taking part including Sean Kerr, Area Manager for West Argyll & The Isles who has been utilising a range of bikes to clock up his miles, and Fiona Lewis, Talgarth’s Office Manager who has captured some stunning photos during her rides. A great effort has been made by the team so far with the longest bike ride recorded in one day going to Graeme Ralph, Euroforest’s Operations Director for Northern Scotland who completed an impressive 89.6 miles with 5,838 feet of climbing!
Our group of Mental Health First Aiders came up with the challenge with the goal of boosting employee wellbeing whilst raising funds for the charity, who offer incredible support for those struggling with their mental health. We want to raise as much as possible for this important charity and have setup a just giving page which you can access to make a donation via this link.
