Today is World Mental Health Day and Euroforest joins companies around the world to help promote positive mental health and provide a forum for talking through its network of Mental Health First Aiders. World Mental Health Day was first celebrated in 1992and is an international day for global mental health education, awareness, and advocacy against social stigma. According to the World Health Organisation, one in eight people worldwide are living with a mental-health issue.
Euroforest recently launched a Mental Health Awareness course for all its employees, providing them with the knowledge to spot the early signs of mental health problems and to have the confidence to talk to their colleagues about this. The team at Euroforest also got together and raised money for Mind, the Mental Health Charity, through the Euroforest Bike Challenge.
