On the 24th September 2021 Euroforest delivered the Forest Works Manager course.
The training course was well attended with 37 employees from The Euroforest Group of companies, and two attendees from AW Jenkinson. Endorsed by FISA, the course provides an introduction to the role of the Forestry Works Manager.
The course covers safety legislation, risk assessment, and guidance on the management of health and safety in forestry, with learning contextualised through a harvesting site monitoring exercise. Two events took place in the Forest of Dean, with two further events taking place at Euroforests’ Head Office, Karlstad House in Carlisle.
