Craig joined Euroforest in 2018 as a Management Accountant at our Head Office in Carlisle.  Craig has since been promoted to the Group’s Financial Controller.  His role is to ensure that accurate data is provided to the stakeholders of the business as well as managing the efficient running of the finance function.  This includes overseeing processes and ensuring they are fit for purpose and deliver accurate invoicing and reporting to our customers, suppliers, hauliers, and contractors.  Craig also maintains important strategic relationships with Euroforest’s shareholders and external parties, such as the bank and auditors.

Craig qualified as a chartered accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales in July 2009.  He spent 15 years at an accountancy practice where he gained a wealth of experience working across multiple industries and has a particularly strong background in auditing. 

Craig has a growing knowledge of the forestry industry and has been involved significantly in the development of the harvesting business, Blacklock Harvesting Ltd.  He has been closely involved in the professionalising of this area of the forestry sector and has been utilising the data in the purpose-built machines which can be accessed remotely.
