The Euroforest Head Office opened in Carlisle in 2019 after relocating from Bentley. A large team of Harvesting Managers and Contract Supervisors operate from this office as well as Managing Director, David Symons, and Director of Operations for the Central region, Cameron Smith. The office covers the areas of South Scotland, Northumberland, Cumbria, Lancashire, and Yorkshire. Many of the staff have been in the industry for over twenty years and have gained considerable experience in timber harvesting on a range of site types from small farm woodlands to high recreation forestry, and large-scale windfarm clearance, as well as offering a harvesting service to the private sector. A number of trainee managers, midyear placement student, and support staff are also based in this office.
The Carlisle office is also home to the Euroforest Finance, HR, and Compliance departments. The Finance Team, managed by Craig Foxcroft is made up of seven dedicated accounts personnel who ensure a smooth and efficient back office with Self Billing Invoicing to all stakeholders. The HR team, managed by Anne Lawrence who is supported an administrative assistance, develops the people of the business whilst engaging with our ‘sustainable excellence’ values. The Compliance team, managed by Simon Wallis consists of three Compliance Officers and a Compliance Administrator who ensure we work to the highest international standards, encouraging a positive safety culture and respect for the environment. Sheffield and Company Ltd and Blacklock Harvesting, both wholly owned subsidiaries of Euroforest also operate from the Carlisle office.
