Jamie joined Euroforest in 2003 as an Area Manager and is now a General Manager in the Talgarth office.   He was attracted to the dynamic nature of the business and the encouragement employees are given to thrive in their role.

Prior to joining Euroforest, Jamie worked for almost a decade within the Forestry department at Weston Park Estate in the Midlands, where he gained a wide variety of invaluable hands-on experience including in harvesting operations, estate sawmilling, and working with a tree nursery and estate retail business.  Jamie gained further experience at Forest Garden, a sawmill in South Wales, where he worked as a Harvesting Contracts Manager.  Jamie also holds an NVQ in Forestry.

Jamie is now responsible for overseeing commercial harvesting operations in South Wales where he purchases both standing and roadside timber.  He ensures all sites are fully compliant with industry standards which require a high level of expertise due to their often-steep nature, close proximately to local towns and villages, and high levels of rainfall making for challenging work conditions.
