William joined Euroforest as an Area Manager in the South of England in March 2021.  He was drawn to the business by the diversity of the work and the freedom the role brings.

Prior to joining Euroforest, William worked with Forestry England for over a decade where he gained extensive knowledge and experience within the forestry industry.  He was involved in planning and policy, and managed a portfolio of woodlands across the South of England.  William has a BSc degree in Archaeology and a master’s degree in Forestry.  

In his role, William is responsible for timber purchasing in his area and supervising all manner of harvesting sites, ensuring timber is harvested in a safe and sustainable way.  He is also able to provide professional advice on all aspects of forest management.
